Equipment Rental
If you are joining a trip, you need to take skis and boots with you from Vienna. During winter, most of the major sports shops will have plenty of skiing equipment for sale. Good advice and expertise can be patchy at best in Vienna, so make sure to shop around before taking the plunge.

Storage
Club members can, at their own risk, store their equipment in the Club's ski room, located near the bus stop under the A Building. The room is opened before and after each trip and members find it convenient to leave their equipment there between trips or even over the summer.

Ski Service
It is advisable to get your skis serviced each year. Fahrrad & Ski offers this service as well, as do certain branches of Intersport.
It is best, however, not to leave servicing until the last minute as it can take up to a week.
